More About Tyler:

I first got involved with Teens For Christ when I was 14. One of my friends had been inviting me to go to his Bible club and I kept coming up with excuses as to why I couldn’t go, until one night he showed up at my front door with two of the biggest guys I had ever seen and basically dragged me to club with him. The following spring, on February 16, 2005, I gave my life to Christ at the same Bible club. 17 years later and I am still involved. After attending the Institute For Teen Evangelism in 2012/13, I spent 6 years doing what I wanted, rather than what God had for me to do. During that time I continued to volunteer but in the summer of 2019 a long series of events culminated with God telling me “Alright, you’ve done what you wanted to do and now you see that there’s no satisfaction in that. Are you ready to follow me and do what I want you to do?” Two weeks later I was sitting down with Chad Peterson and started the process of becoming a Teens For Christ staff member.

Since joining the staff of TFC God has stretched me in ways I never would have imagined before. He has taught me so much about Himself, His love, and His amazing grace. Ever since I graduated high school I have had a passion for discipleship and pouring into others, and now I get to do that as my full-time job.

I currently run the Cottage Grove Bible Club and coach a Bible Quizzing team. I am also working side by side with some of the senior staff to learn and take on some of their responsibilities to help free them up to do more of what they feel called to in this season of life. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for the future of my personal ministry and for the ministry of TFC as a whole.
